Best BBQ sauce for RIBS

(For 10-15 lbs. of ribs on the smoker, need 1 slop brush)

1 onion, chopped
1 bulb of garlic, diced (not a clove, a whole bulb)
1 stick of butter
8 oz. of GOOD beer, like a Shiner Bock
1 bell pepper - chopped (TAKE OUT THE SEEDS)
1 jalapeno pepper - chopped (TAKE OUT THE SEEDS)
2-3 bay leaves - whole

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and then reduce heat to low. Simmer for about an hour. After you put your ribs on the smoker, slop on some of the sauce on all sides...just keep slopping with the sauce the entire time you are smoking your ribs, enjoy!
